With the rising need for weight optimization across sectors, metal matrix composites (MMCs) have proven to be a reliable alternative to the traditional set of materials. However, modeling their material properties across the varying length scales remains a challenge to be addressed. This paper primarily focuses on the application of MMCs for compressed hydrogen storage pressure vessel and the effect variation in reinforcement distribution across MMCs will have on the dynamic characteristics of the model. The material properties are modelled using commercially available software and provided to the model which is then used to analyze the pre-stressed modal behavior. This allows us to quantify and compare the dynamic behavior during the expected operating conditions of the vessel.
