Mr. Andreas Jandl, is a mechanical engineer and holder of an MBA degree. He gained his knowledge and experience in 30 years of working in the friction industry: as project manager steering the development of friction materials for OEMs, as technical manager at a major European aftermarket friction material supplier and as general manager at a named friction manufacturer for rail vehicles. 

Now as managing director of VRI-Verband der Reibbelagindustrie e. V., and FEMFM – Federation of European Manufacturers of Friction Materials, he focuses to promote the cooperation of friction material manufacturers on an international level and to ensure the quality standards of friction materials as an essential contribution to the safety of road & rail vehicles.
