Abstract: Automated road vehicles are expected to bring many benefits to society, including improved safety and mobility. To achieve these benefits, several obstacles need to be addressed along the way. This talk focuses on human factors in the context of remote operation of automated road vehicles as well as in the context of interactions between automated vehicles and other road users in their vicinity.
