In 2018, Carlos graduated as a Master of Engineering from the Technical University of Deggendorf. His master thesis was on “Process and market analysis regarding the wear protection of brake discs” which he undertook whilst at Sturm Maschinen- & Anlagenbau GmbH

From 2019, Carlos has been Product manager and coating specialist at Sturm Maschinen- & Anlagenbau GmbH and he is responsible for the development, process technology and product life cycle of a large scale serial machine for wear protection coatings on brake discs; the implementation and project management of different R&D projects, especially the conception and design of the laser cladding machine technology and measurement technology. He is also the responsible developer of the coating systems on brake discs at the technical center of Sturm.
