Cristobal Rodriguez is M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering (Fluid Mechanics) by the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and M.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering (Aerodynamics) by the Politecnico di Milano. Additionally performed 1 year of postgraduate courses within the research programme of the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

12 years of experience in the automotive industry product development area focused on: Durability, NVH attribute and Powertrain Development, Controls & Integration. Has worked in the following companies: NISSAN, Delphi, McLaren Automotive and Ferrari S.p.A

For the last 3 years focused on low volume high performance vehicles hybrid powertrains within his current role as System Integration Technical Specialist in McLaren Automotive Powertrain department.

STEM wise, since 2012 involved in the formation and mentoring of young engineers being part of Formula Student Events in the duties of design judge.
