Danilo Teobaldi studied Mechanical Engineering at Turin Politecnicoin Italy and he has been in the automotive industry for more than 25 years.

He spent 10 years in Italdesign (today part of Audi group) having the possibility to work with many different brands, from Ferrari and Lamborghini, through the German premium and all the way to VW, Stellantis and major Chinese OEMs. 

Currently, Danilo is NIO Principal Chief Engineer, based in NIO Center for Performance and Advance Engineering in Oxford and he is responsible, from cradle to grave, for vehicle technologies from advanced engineering to serial development and releases in the final NIO products.
