Emmanuel Leroy was born in France in 1988. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and from the Ecole des Mines de Paris with a double MSc. in mechanical engineering and materials sciences.

After a stint in R&D at BMW and PSA, he joined Gestamp R&D Paris in 2012 working in CAE and product development. He then became CAE/product team leader. In 2014, he took the lead of the Paris R&D center, focusing on vehicle safety and BIW co-development. The following year he was asked to expand globally this competence within R&D (Europe, Japan, India, USA, China…). 

In 2017, he was appointed Paris R&D Director and Global Co-development Director within R&D BIW.

In March 2020, Emmanuel Leroy joined ESI Group as EVP Industry Solutions, in charge of the industry strategy, go-to-market and performance.
