Florian graduated in mechanical and industrial engineering and started his career in 2005 in the field of NVH development of foundation brakes at TRW (today ZF). In 2008 Florian moved to Audi AG and has held several management positions in the field of brakes for the Audi / Volkswagen Group. Since June 2022 Florian acts as Head of Development Foundation Brakes for Volkswagen Passenger cars. Currently he is focussing on development work for brakes fulfilling the new Euro 7 requirements.
