Harry L. Husted has served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for BorgWarner since 2021. In this role, Husted is responsible for maintaining and growing BorgWarner’s product and technology portfolio to meet current and future market needs for sustainable and profitable growth.
Husted joined the company in 2020 as part of BorgWarner’s acquisition of Delphi Technologies. During his over 20 years at Delphi Technologies, formerly Delphi Automotive Systems, he held a variety of technical leadership and business management roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Engineering, Electronics and Electrification, where he led a global team in the development of power electronics, controllers and software.
Husted holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, where he was a General Motors Fellowship recipient, and a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Kettering University.
In addition to his work at BorgWarner, Husted is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, recipient of the SAE Lloyd L. Withrow Distinguished Speaker Award, co-author of 25 technical papers, and co-inventor on 9 patents.
