Professor at Tongji University, Director of the Institute of Intelligent Vehicle Research, New Energy Vehicle Engineering Center, Fellow of the Chinese Association of Automation, recipient of the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund, and former Director of the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control, Jilin University. She received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Automatic Instruments and Process Control from Zhejiang University in 1983 and 1986, respectively, and she got her Ph.D. degree with the highest honor (mit Auszeichung bestanden) from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, in 1997. In 2000, she finished her postdoctoral research at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Jilin University (supervised by academician Konghui Guo).
She has long been engaged in the research of advanced optimal control, nonlinear control and its application in automotive systems. Her research results in predictive control and automotive control have been widely recognized by international peers. She has presided over many key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key international cooperation projects, national key R&D projects, 973 projects and other scientific research projects, won 3 1st prizes of the ministerial and provincial science and technology awards, published more than 120 high-level papers, 2 books in Chinese and English, and authorized more than 80 patents, and some of the technical achievements have been adopted in real-world application.
