James Webster is the Engineering Technical Leader for Brakes and Controls at General Motors Corporation, a leader in automotive vehicles.
James has worked for General Motors for 33 years, 28 of which has been in automotive braking systems. James was instrumental in the development and implementation of several automotive first technologies, Ferritic Nitro Carburization of Automotive Brake Rotors, high volume eBoost one box Electrohydraulic Brake Systems for GM.
James has multiple U.S. patents, and defensive publications. He earned the GM Boss Kettering Award for development and implementation of FNC. James is an active member in SAE and is on the SAE Executive Board for the Brake Colloquium.
