Jianqiang Wang is a professor at the School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University, the Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Safety and Energy, and Director of Tsinghua University-DiDi Future Mobility Joint Research Center. He is the Fellow of China SAE. He serves as the Executive Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles, and Associate Editor-in-Chief of ET Intelligent Transport Systems. 

His research interests mainly include automotive intelligent safety and intelligent vehicle technology. Prof. Wang has published more than 150 papers in SCI and EI-indexed journals, co-authored two English books, led more than 100 national invention patents, and won five best paper awards in international academic conferences. 

Prof. Wang is the recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund, and the recipient of the National High-Level Talent Title. In 2004, he won the Outstanding Young Scientist Award of China Automotive Industry; in 2018, he was selected as the S&T Innovation Leader by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
