Having finished his diploma’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007, Kai started his professional career as research fellow in the field of friction and brakes at the TU Braunschweig (Prof. Dr. Ostermeyer). 

After finishing his doctor’s degree in 2012, he joined Audi in the department of chassis system development. There, he had different roles, including technical expert for friction and NVH to project responsibility for the A6/A7 model lines. 

Since 2020, Kai is assistant to the management of development chassis.
