Kei Matsui is Vice President and GM of Automotive Japan and ASEAN of TE Connectivity, the world leader in connectivity and sensor solutions and associated manufacturing technologies for the automotive industry.

Mr. Matsui also serves as President of Tyco Electronics Japan G.K., the firm’s Japanese operations. Since joining AMP (f.k.a.) in 1985, he has focused on the automotive market, and successfully taken on increasingly important sales and management responsibilities to reach his current position. Also during this time, he has supervised entire business unit operations both in Japan and ASEAN.

At TE, Mr. Matsui is known for successful execution in customer engagement, business development, financial management and an intense focus on team building as One TE. His efforts led to accelerating strategic portfolio expansion in key focus applications, including ECU, battery solutions, data connectivity, wireless and sensing applications.

His keen knowledge of the Japanese and world automotive markets has contributed significantly to the growth momentum of Automotive division in the region. Notable achievement among his accomplishments is TE’s successful penetration into the Japanese multinational auto makers.
