Between 2016 and 2022, Marcel studied at TU Graz whilst working part time at MACH ROTEC as a technical grinding-engineer, where he was responsible for the engineering of different grinding processes. 

In 2022, he graduated as a Master of Engineering from the TU Graz and since his graduation he is responsible for the brake disc business unit at MACH ROTEC with a particular focus on the process of brake disc grinding.
