Marcel Deutzer studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig and finished his studies with a master's degree in vibration control.

For the past 2 and a half years, he has been working as a Ph.D. Student at Volkswagen R&D in Wolfsburg, responsible for NVH aspects in the context of brakes. He is supervised by Prof. Dr. Norbert Hoffmann, Head of the institute Dynamics Group at the Hamburg University of Technology.
