Dr. Markus Seidel studied Business Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and has a Ph.D. in Innovation Management from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). After his first career steps in the software and consulting industry he joined the BMW Group in 1994. Since then he has held various management positions in Inhouse Consulting, R&D, Sales & Marketing, Corporate Planning etc. Besides his current role at the BMW Group Markus is the Chair of the Expert Group Circular Economy at EUCAR in Brussels and a lecturer for sustainability and innovation at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
