Robert Weingart is a skilled mechanical engineer with an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas (USA). He began his career at Mercedes-Benz AG, where he made valuable contributions as a development engineer, focusing on the overall vehicle design of sports cars. As his expertise grew, Robert took on diverse roles within Mercedes-Benz AG, working on designing (EQS SUV) and testing (EQA/EQB) electric vehicles. He also served as the executive assistant to one of the chief engineers, actively contributing to the company's innovation and growth.

This year, Robert embraced a new challenge by joining Rivian Automotive LLC. He now leads the EU test and development activities, bringing the Electric Delivery Van designed in partnership with Amazon Prime to Europe.

Robert has a deep passion for Formula Student outside of his professional pursuits. He actively participated for over five years, eventually becoming a judge, and is now a vital part of the organizational committee as he organizes the engineering design report competition.
