Solène holds a PhD and Master’s in Applied Mathematics as well a Masters in Numerical Analysis.
Since joining EDF in 2008, Solène joined EDF in 2008 where she was employed as a Research Engineer in Numerical Simulation, where she worked on the development of algorithms for coupling multi-physics software development. In 2010 she became Development Team Leader where she focussed on the development of an open source software for acoustic propagation in the environment (Code-TYMPAN). She later become Project Manager within the R&D-EPI team, Solène worked on the development of a platform for the design and optimal management of urban heating network and the development of innovative methods for the design of industrial symbioses. In 2020 Solène became the Project Manager for EDF R&D-TREE where she helps to develop innovative methods for Circular Economy at a territory scale and particularly EPFILEX approach, Demontrators set-up (ex: Dunkirk industrial port area) and Standardisation work (ISO comities)

DEMix internal Project -2015-2019 – Leader - Development of an integrated design and operation platform for heating networks
CERES-2 ANR Project -2010-2014– Leader - Optimization of industrial process based on energy integration methodology and application to 3 industrial sites.
SMILES H2020 Project -2018-2019- Smart Integration of Energy Storages in Local Multi Energy Systems for maximising the Share of Renewables in Europe’s Energy Mix
EPIFLEX ADEME Project -2018-2021 – Leader – Methodology to design flexibal eco-industrial parks and application to Dunkirk area in partnership with Mines ParisTech. Studies including 27 industrial sites. Link with Urban Community, seaport and local associations.
