Tim Wallington is the Senior Technical Leader for Environmental Science at the Ford Motor Company and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan, USA.
Tim holds B.A., D.Phil., and D.Sc. degrees in chemistry from Oxford University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and an Honorary Doctor of Science from Copenhagen University. He works with a global team of scientists and engineers at Ford to understand local, regional, and global environmental impacts of transportation and to provide sustainable mobility.
Tim is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the U.S. EPA Board of Scientific Counselors and the California Air Resources Board Research Screening Committee.
Tim has coauthored 550 peer-reviewed scientific publications, 26 book chapters, and 7 books on vehicle emissions, environmental impacts, and lifecycle assessments.
