Tomas Bourdieu performs as a CAE Engineer at EDAG Engineering GmbH and is member of Center of Competence Brakes. He is responsible for the emulation of low-frequency brake noises and leads the CAE development of body components for motorcycle projects.
After acquiring a diploma in mechanical engineering with focus on the automotive industry, he worked for two years as a motorsport engineer before starting a master course on CAE at RWTH Aachen University. Receiving the distinction of best of his class, he concluded his studies by focusing on the emulation of creep groan through numerical tools in an industrial environment.
