Dr. Treyde graduated as a mechanical engineer from Hannover University (Germany), from which he also received his PhD for his research on non-linear modelling of turbine blade dynamics.
He joined Lucas Engineering (now ZF Friedrichshafen AG) in Koblenz (Germany) in 1995 as a Brakes NVH engineer. 1997 he became responsible for Brake Systems NVH in Europe and 2005 globally. For many years he was part of standardization groups in Europe (VDA) and North America (SAE). He built up NVH and Simulation teams in China and Japan.
2013 he also took over the global responsibility for Brake System Simulation. In 2016 Dr. Treyde became the Technical Director Engineering Quality in ZF Braking, overseeing e.g. ASPICE implementation and Functional Safety.
Since 2019 he is the global Technical Director for Simulation and NVH in ZF Div. A (Braking & Steering Systems). He is responsible for the NVH and Simulation support of customer programs as well as the further development of technology towards Virtual Engineering (Digital Twin) and Virtual SW and Systems Validation (Virtual Release).
