Prof. Daisho completed his doctorate at Waseda University in 1976 and later joined their Mechanical Engineering Department as a research associate and then professor. He specializes in research on ‘IC engine combustion and emissions, and alternative fuels and power systems for automobiles’ and ‘Air pollution and global warming mitigation and energy shift related to the transportation sector’.
