Mr. Kuwayama was born in Japan in 1958 and lives in Tokoname, Aichi, Japan. In 1981, he graduated from Nagoya University in Aeronautical Engineering. In the same year, he started his carrier at AISIN-WARNER Ltd. who changed its name to AISIN AW in 1988, where he mainly engaged in Research and Development of Automatic Transmission.  In 1991, he transferred to AW EUROPE S.A.  In 2003, he was appointed General Manager of Product Engineering Department. In 2006, he transferred to Quality Assurance Department. In 2008, He became President at AW EUROPE S.A., AW TECHNICAL CENTER EUROPE S.A., and Associate Officer at AISIN AW Co., Ltd. In 2013, he became Managing Officer and Director in 2015. In 2018, he became Executive Vice President.
