FISITA Sensing Technology Paper

The FISITA Autonomous Hardware and Software Technology Cluster Output Paper on Sensing Technology for Autonomous Vehicles

Following the creation of an expert working group from within the international membership community of FISITA, the FISITA Autonomous Hardware and Software Technology Cluster issues its first thought leadership paper on the highly relevant topic of Sensing Technology for Autonomous Vehicles.

This Paper includes fascinating insights into the challenges and opportunities in this area, from a group of technologists comprising vehicle manufacturers, tier 1 suppliers and start-up companies.

This Paper examines the following:

  • Types of sensors required for autonomy

  • The challenges of implementation of these sensors
