Technical Programme

Dear AVEC community,
Dear friends and colleagues around the world, It is my great pleasure to inform you that AVEC'22 will be held in Japan. The symposium of AVEC'22 has been postponed from the 2020 schedule due to COVID-19 pandemic situation. We aim to overcome this difficulty and continue long tradition of AVEC symposia for our family of engineers in the field of vehicle dynamics and control, even in the new normal era.
Furthermore, AVEC'22 will be the 30th anniversary of the symposium. Vehicle dynamics and control are indispensable for user experiences even in the CASE era, focusing on automated driving and electrification technologies.
The AVEC Symposium has a long history and a strong reputation as one of the most fascinating international conferences on vehicle system dynamics and control. Since the first symposium was held in Yokohama in 1992, AVEC has become internationally renowned as its successive events in Tsukuba, Aachen, Nagoya, Michigan, Hiroshima, Arnhem, Taipei, Kobe, Loughborough, Seoul, Tokyo, Munich and Beijing. The concept of AVEC’22 stays unchanged, as it contributes to future research and development through the active exchange of knowledge and vision among engineers from a wide range of disciplines involved in vehicle control on a 50/50 basis from industry and academia.
The organizing committee cordially invites you to become a part of AVEC '22 for getting knowledge and impression about state-of-the-art research and development in advanced vehicle control through active discussions with various participants from industries and academic circles.
AVEC '22 General Chair
Professor Hideo Inoue
