Nikzad Motamedi is a third year PhD candidate at university of Lille (France). His master’s is in the civil engineering field and the focus of his research is on numerical and experimental coupling.

During his PhD thesis, he has used artificial intelligence to analyze contact mechanics, contact localization,evolution of surface topology during the contact process and in general dynamic instability related to brake squeal.
