What do you find most interesting about the topic of your presentation?
This presentation aims to present the findings that are explored variations and identifications of the sensitive parameters affecting brake wear particulate matter (PM) and particle number (PN) measurement using world first standard methodology.
Special noteworthy data is that the brake wear particles are charged in both low metallic and NOA brakes.
This findings are offered the old new normal insight into the nature of PN measurement.

What kind of chemical composition are the PN?
We will analyse the chemical compositions on the filter using for the PM.

About Hiroyuki Hagino.
Dr. Hiroyuki Hagino is a senior research scientist at Japan Automobile Research Institute, JARI. He leads the Environmental Protection Research Group, which conducts in situ measurements of aerosol compositions to evaluate the behaviour of emission particles and their processing in the atmosphere. Dr. Hagino also leads JARI efforts to characterize not only brake wear particle emissions and but also secondary aerosol formation from automotive exhausts and to evaluate these impacts in atmospheric compositions
